Privacy Policy (English)

Summary: Miqat does not collect, sell, or share personal information, and has no servers of its own. Location is optional and used only while the app is in use; your settings and most recent location stay on your device. Place names and city search use Apple Maps (section 4).

1) Information We Collect

Miqat does not collect personally identifiable information (such as name, email, phone number), and does not collect sensitive data (such as precise location history, contacts, photos, or health data).

2) Location Permission (While Using the App)

Miqat may request access to your location while the app is in use to calculate accurate prayer times and the Qibla direction. Location access is:

Optional — you can use Miqat without granting location permission
Limited to “While Using the App”
Processed locally on your device
Saved on your device and your paired Apple Watch — only the most recent location, not a history, for widgets and notifications
Not sent to Miqat — only Apple Maps receives its coordinates, to name the place and find its country (section 4)

If you choose not to allow location access, you can manually select a city. Manual city selection does not require location permission. City searches are sent to Apple Maps.

3) Data Sharing

Miqat does not sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising, analytics, or tracking.

4) Third-Party Services

Miqat does not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies. Miqat uses Apple Maps to name locations, find their country, and search for cities; Apple receives the coordinates or search text and handles them under Apple’s Privacy Policy.

5) Purchases (If Added Later)

If Miqat adds premium features in the future, purchases will be handled exclusively through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. Miqat does not receive payment card details.

6) Data Retention

Miqat does not retain personal data on its servers. Your settings, saved cities, and most recent location are stored locally on your device (and in its backups, if you use them) and can be removed by deleting the app.

7) Security

Miqat minimizes data exposure by not collecting personal data. If you contact support by email, your email provider may process the message according to their policies. Support emails from the app include the app version, device type, and iOS version.

8) Children’s Privacy

Miqat does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9) Your Rights & Choices

You can enable or disable location access anytime in iOS Settings.
You can use manual city selection without enabling location.
You can delete the app to remove locally stored settings and location.

10) International Users

Miqat is available worldwide. Miqat itself does not transfer user data across borders; Apple Maps requests (section 4) follow Apple’s Privacy Policy.

11) Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated as the app evolves. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.

ملخص: لا يقوم تطبيق ميقات بجمع أو بيع أو مشاركة أي بيانات شخصية، وليست له خوادم خاصة به. الموقع اختياري ويُستخدم فقط أثناء استخدام التطبيق، وتبقى إعداداتك وآخر موقع لك على جهازك. يستخدم ميقات خرائط Apple لأسماء الأماكن والبحث عن المدن (البند 4).

1) البيانات التي نجمعها

لا يقوم تطبيق ميقات بجمع أي معلومات تعريفية أو بيانات حساسة من المستخدمين.

2) إذن الموقع (أثناء استخدام التطبيق)

قد يطلب ميقات الوصول إلى الموقع أثناء استخدام التطبيق فقط لحساب مواقيت الصلاة واتجاه القبلة بدقة.

يمكن اختيار المدينة يدويًا دون الحاجة إلى تفعيل إذن الموقع. يُرسل البحث عن المدن إلى خرائط Apple.

3) مشاركة البيانات

لا يبيع ميقات بياناتك ولا يشاركها مع جهات خارجية لأغراض الإعلانات أو التحليلات أو التتبع.

4) خدمات الطرف الثالث

لا يستخدم ميقات أي أدوات تحليل أو إعلانات أو تتبع. ويستخدم خرائط Apple لتسمية المواقع ومعرفة دولها والبحث عن المدن، فتتلقى Apple الإحداثيات أو نص البحث وتعالجها وفق سياسة الخصوصية لدى Apple.

5) المشتريات (إذا أُضيفت لاحقًا)

في حال إضافة ميزات مدفوعة مستقبلاً، ستتم عمليات الشراء عبر نظام Apple فقط، ولا يحصل ميقات على بيانات الدفع.

6) الاحتفاظ بالبيانات

لا يحتفظ ميقات ببيانات شخصية على خوادمه. تُحفظ الإعدادات والمدن المحفوظة وآخر موقع محليًا على جهازك (وفي نسخه الاحتياطية إن وُجدت)، ويمكن حذفها بحذف التطبيق.

7) الأمان

صُمم ميقات لتقليل التعرض للبيانات عبر عدم جمع أي بيانات شخصية. في حال التواصل عبر البريد الإلكتروني، قد تتم معالجة الرسائل وفق سياسات مزود البريد. وتتضمن رسائل الدعم من التطبيق رقم إصداره ونوع الجهاز وإصدار iOS.

8) خصوصية الأطفال

لا يجمع ميقات أي معلومات شخصية عن الأطفال دون سن 13 عامًا.

9) حقوقك وخياراتك

يمكنك التحكم في إذن الموقع من إعدادات iOS.
يمكن استخدام اختيار المدينة يدويًا دون الموقع.
يمكن حذف التطبيق لإزالة البيانات المحلية.

10) المستخدمون الدوليون

يتوفر ميقات عالميًا، ولا ينقل ميقات بنفسه أي بيانات مستخدمين عبر الحدود؛ وتخضع طلبات خرائط Apple (البند 4) لسياسة الخصوصية لدى Apple.

11) التغييرات على هذه السياسة

قد يتم تحديث هذه السياسة مستقبلًا، وسيتم نشر النسخة المحدثة على هذه الصفحة.
